EU-programmet Richfields arbejder med tanken om at lade forbrugerne donere deres data til gavn for forskning omhandlende forbrugeradfærd og fødevareindtag. Programmet har Aalborg Universitet og standardiseringsorganisationen GS1 som danske partnere.

Kulturnatten i undervisnings- og forskningsministeriet 2016 slog publikumsrekorden med i alt 4.440 besøgende i løbet af aftenen. En stor del var - sammen med DR's TV hold - forbi AAU standen hvor både fødevare, sundhed og medialogi temaer var på programmet

Reykjaviks borgmester har netop afsat 1 milliard kroner til bedre mad i børnehaven – islandske godt nok – men alligevel en politisk satsning der er værd at lægge mærke til.
