AAU medialogy students Luca Mangano, Emil Høeg and food student Nanna Nymand had put all their efforts into the device that is intended to be used in 2 modes. One for virtual design of food outlets and one for teaching home economics virtually. The demo was one of the most visited stands during the demosessions. The development process is funded by the dVices4food and the Foosions program that is a AAU matchmaking initiative.

The AAU Foosions program demo of the Virtual Foodscape Simulator exhibited at the 9th Measuring Behaviour conference in Dublin was close to winning the prize for best demo.
